Pro Painters LTD is a family-owned painting, refinishing, and restoration company serving communities throughout Metro Detroit. We take a customized approach with each project, shaped by the client’s needs and the condition of the existing surfaces.
We start with a thorough on-site walkthrough to determine the ideal combination of substrate preparation, priming systems, and the space’s technical requirements.
We use industry-tested architectural coatings selected for the surface, environment, and expected use. Depending on the project, this may include custom stains, specialty finishes, or physical finish samples developed specifically for the property.
When original cabinetry, millwork, plaster, or architectural details can be retained, we assess what can be repaired, refinished, or restored before considering replacement.
We work with homeowners, designers, architects and builders throughout the finishing process. When custom stains or finish systems are involved, we can mix and refine them on site and evaluate them in the property’s actual light and surroundings.

Slobodan “Zaggy” Grabovac began painting professionally in 1996 and founded Pro Painters LTD in 1998.
Zaggy has built Pro Painters LTD through hands-on experience across thousands of residential and commercial projects. Our work extends from traditional architectural painting to custom stains, cabinetry and millwork, high-gloss applications, specialty coatings, and detailed restoration for select projects. We have remained selective over the decades; not as a constraint, but as a commitment. We take on projects only where our standard can be fully applied and the desired results fully realized.
Zaggy remains directly involved from the first conversation through final inspection. He works with the project team to evaluate materials, resolve finish specifications, and oversee the preparation and application that determine the completed result.
