Disposal

Apply the following measures when disposing of the paint you do not want to store or use at a future time:

  1. Latex paints are not hazardous, however, they have to be solidified properly to avoid potential environmental contamination
  2. Latex paints can be disposed of as regular trash only if they are first dried through the process of evaporation
  3. Oil-based paints and solvents are treated as hazardous waste materials that require additional precautionary and safety measures
  4. Oil-based paints and solvents are NEVER to be dried or disposed of in regular trash like latex paints
  5. Always contact your local authorities for instructions on how and where to dispose of them
